• Golf – there are TWO championship courses around Zell and two more within a short drive!

The town is a decent size and offers a good selection of restaurants, bars, cafes – either in the town or on the mountain. The quality and variety of food is excellent and prices are affordable.

Comfortable day trips include:

Saalbach-Hinterglemm - ski region for another 240km of pistes! (Just 25 minutes away)

Kaprun – Glacier skiing year-round (15 minutes away)

Salzburg – beautiful historic city just over an hour away by train (and it’s a lovely journey)

OK, not exactly a day trip, but Italy, Slovenia, Germany and Switzerland are just a few hours’ drive away!
